BSF's Padaed project in Thailand has just welcomed it's second cohort of eight new families. A grand opening ceremony was held to greet them at a beautiful botanical gardens in Chiang Mai. Faces were beaming with excitement and expectation at the start this new adventure with BSF.

This special opening day not only marked the beginning of a new BSF program for these eight families, but it also created many special memories for the parents and children. One 10 year old child, Stopp, said, “I am so glad that I could spend time with my grandmother and mother today. We have never been on a fun trip like this before as a whole family! This was our first time.

Stopp lives with his mother, grandmother and older siblings, Satang and Stamp. Their whole family are always busy growing vegetables which they sell at the market. They had never had the chance to find quality time like this to go on a fun trip together as a whole family. It was truly a special occasion for them.
