Namthip’s journey has been anything but easy. As a single mother, she’s endured heartbreak, abuse, betrayal, and overwhelming responsibility—fleeing a violent relationship, caring for her injured mother, and battling constant financial strain. Despite her efforts—working as a cook and moving from place to place—she still couldn’t make ends meet. Yet through it all, she held onto a quiet dream: to one day open her own bakery.
When BSF learned of Namthip’s situation, we invited her to join our Family Strengthening Program in Ton Pao, Thailand. She accepted with hope in her heart, knowing this could be the turning point her family desperately needed.
Namthip had trained as a baker when she was younger but lacked the resources to start a business. That’s where BSF stepped in—equipping her with a brand-new refrigerator, electric mixer, blender, baking trays, ingredients, and everything else she needed to begin her bakery from home.

Alongside business support, Namthip has thrived through BSF’s Family Fun Days and training sessions. After attending a session on Positive Parenting, she shared:
“This training gave me great techniques for handling challenges as my children grow. I’ve learned to communicate better and involve my kids in decisions. The more I understand them, the more I can respond with love. It’s changed the atmosphere in our home.”

Now, Namthip and her two children are spending more time together—healing, growing, and building a stronger bond. Her small bakery has already begun receiving orders, and for the first time, she’s earning the extra income her family has always needed.
“I’m so grateful to be part of BSF,” Namthip said. “The activities help me spend more quality time with my kids, and that brings real happiness to our family.”

Namthip is committed to growing her bakery with care—hoping one day to pass it on to her children as a lasting gift and legacy. Her bakery is more than a business—it’s a symbol of her resilience, love, and hope for the future.
