When life is difficult, we struggle together. Mee Tho, a loving grandmother in northern Thailand, refused to let hardship separate her from her granddaughter Namfon. Through challenges of illness, poverty, and fear, love held them together. With support from BSF, their story is now one of hope, resilience, and family.

Once trapped in survival mode, Puu struggled with unstable income and fading confidence as a mother. Through training, support, and the gift of a motorbike sidecar, she rebuilt both her livelihood and her hope—now earning steady income, serving her community, and planning for her son’s future. What changed her life wasn’t just opportunity, but restored dignity and belief in her ability to rise again.

In a small home in Choeng Doi, seven lives depend on one woman—Grandmother Ladda. Each day she collected recyclables just to put food on the table. She had skills and determination, but lacked opportunity. Through the Building Strong Families program, she received support to start frog farming and grow mushrooms at home. Today, her family has steady income, renewed hope, and a grandmother confident she can build a stronger future for those she loves.
