Family Day in Nepal

Family plays a crucial role in the psychosocial development of children. Laughing and having fun together is good medicine that helps develop healthy relationships in the family. Our BSF project in Chhampi organized a memorable Family Fun Day for eight families in Nepal.

The families climbed to the top of a hillside for a breath-taking view of the Kathmandu valley. They spent time exploring the beautiful area and taking pictures together. They all had lots of fun participating in family-bonding games around the theme of “Family Day”.

After descending from the hilltop, the families went to a lovely picnic spot nearby and played balloon games. They all had so much fun and also learned about the importance of building strong relationships within their family. To bring the day to a close, they all shared some yummy food together and reflected on a wonderful day.

Sarita, a BSF mother, said, “I have never been here before. It is such a beautiful place! I really enjoyed exploring this area with my daughter. I am really grateful to BSF for taking us to new places and arranging this wonderful time together with our family.
